Cypress Hue Interior Design Process

1. Initial Consultation

• Meet with the client over Zoom to discuss their vision, needs, and budget.

• Assess the space, taking notes on any structural or design challenges.

• Establish the project scope, including materials, finishes, lighting, millwork, and layout ideas.

• Provide an overview of Cypress Hue’s design approach and what to expect in terms of timelines and collaboration.

2. Concept Development

• Create a design concept based on the client’s preferences and functional needs.

• Develop mood boards via our presentation building block.

• Discuss key elements such as color palettes, textures, and overall aesthetic direction.

• Refine the concept based on client feedback.

3. Design Plan & Material Selection

• Finalize selections for materials, finishes, lighting, and other design elements.

• Source slabs, backsplash, cabinetry finishes, and other custom features (e.g., Venetian plaster).

• Work closely with vendors and fabricators to provide quotes to our clients.

  4. Project Coordination & Contractor Collaboration

• Engage with tradespeople and ensure proper scheduling for installations.

• Collaborate with Contractor, Electrician, and CH team for execution and problem-solving.

• Oversee demo, installation, and finishing work 

• Address unexpected site conditions and adjust plans accordingly.

5. Final Styling & Installation

• Ensure all elements are installed correctly and meet Cypress Hue’s quality standards.

• Add final styling touches, including furniture placement, decor, and lighting adjustments.

• Conduct a walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction and note any final touch-ups needed.

6. Project Completion & Handover

• Review the project with the client and address any last-minute concerns.

• Provide care instructions for materials and finishes.

• Ensure final invoices are settled and document project completion.

• If applicable, coordinate social media content to showcase the project.
